Arctic Monkeys
The Arctic Monkeys.
I'd have much rather see the Guillemots winning... or Muse! (Both for different reasons)
Let's hope the curse doesn't affect them too much ;)
Arctic Monkeys debut album "Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not" has won them £20,000! - They're going to spend it on something special but wouldn't announce the details of this during an interview with Jo Whiley after they had been awarded the prize.
The nominations this year were:

- Guillemots - Through The Windowpane
- Thom Yorke - The Eraser
- Isobel Campbell and Mark Lanegan - Ballad Of The Broken Seas
- Editors - The Back Room
- Richard Hawley - Coles Corner
- Hot Chip - The Warning
- Zoe Rahman - Melting Pot
- Lou Rhodes - Beloved One
- Scritti Politti - White Bread Black Beer
- Sway - This Is My Demo
- Arctic Monkeys - Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not

If I wasn't bothered about the curse, I would of liked to of seen Editors win it.
