Who needs Glastonbury - Whitby World Music festival almost sold out....

With 6 weeks to go to Whitby World Music Festival almost 90% of full weekend tickets are now sold & there are only a limited number of day & session tickets remaining. There is an additional free access venue at The Rifle Club, West Cliff, Whitby (Midday-8pm Saturday & Midday-6pm Sunday) with several local bands appearing there alongside some main stage artists & organised in collaboration with Cultural Foundation - details will appear on website when confirmed.
New additions to the main venue line up (full details below) include Rab Noakes (ex Lindisfarne & Stealers Wheel), Seikou Susso (Gambia), Michelle Scally Clarke(Poet), Podhale Polish Dance Troupe, Chartwell Dutiro (Zimbabwe) Ahmed & Imad (Egypt/Palestine), Song of Creation (sound & light performance) Nahro Zagros (Iraq) & Mambo Jambo.
A number of education workshops with local schools will also happen in lead up to the festival
