Ten Foot Nun - Sampler (Tall Order Records)

A collection of tracks from Croydon band Ten Foot Nun, this sampler is quite the eye opener. TFN play wonderfully quirky twitch rock, full of angular guitar turns and shouty lyrics. This style is best realised on the fantastic "Last Night I Dreamed I Saw Your Band" (which can be heard on their website), which contains more twists and turns in it's two and a half minutes than most band demo's contain in their entirety. The only real fly in the ointment is the production, which in places leaves a lot to be desired, but being a collection of demos this is forgivable. Go on, check them out!
