Bang! Bang! Aids - Tales

Reviewed by Ben on 2nd February 2007

For those who enjoy the art-rock/noise rock stylings of Mclusky, Help She Can't Swim and even a hint of post-hardcore act At The Drive-In this Victoria, Australia based two piece are without question a band to keep an eye out for.

With their first release, a seven track CD with each copy of the release featuring a different cover as done by kindergarten children, their music verges on at times melodic and soothing, to other points a complete wall of noise. From Dead Ant Dance to The Ball Landed Near Your Rabbit's Grave, each song is another compromise to your usual formulaic music that is archetypical of the scene at this point in time.

Do yourself a huge favor, and jump aboard the Bang! Bang! Aids! wagon before it becomes overloaded. An already big contender for release of 2007
