The Hair - Disco/Retro

'Disco/Retro' is the latest single from Yorkshire based indie-pop four piece The Hair, following hot on the heels of the infectious Bloc Party-esque 'Ghosts' 'Disco/Retro' furthers the band's indie-pop brilliance.
The A side 'Disco/Retro' is a simple enough song with grand sounding guitars in the opening, it is infectious and before long the chorus is something you cannot get out of your head, the vocals are brilliant and are perfectly backed by the guitars and synths.
B side 'Sidney Betts' starts off being a little bit more "experimental" and is more indie than 'Disco/Retro' with grandiose sounding guitars the last 45 seconds sound like stadium filling music, despite the low-key opening.
