The Polyphonic Spree - The Beginning Stages Of...

This album has a mix of some quite lovely songs, and one or two that seem to let it down. First the good ones, 'Soldier Girl' is a lovely track to shout along to while bouncing up and down. 'Days Like This Keep Me Warm' is perfect to chill to with the sun beaming down on you as are most of the instrumental tracks on the album. However, the final track 'A Long Day' seems completely out of place, the mellow feel of the album is gone and a weird electronic feeling drivel is in its place. Ignore the final track and you have a really good album to listen to.
