Title track 'Rapt. Dept.' is a blend of strong vocals and a wall of guitars with a chorus which uses harmonies to great affect. It's quite a nice song, but don't let that put you off it rawks too! 'Awake/Sleep' starts off gentle but gets progressively louder and more powerful as the song goes on, reminds me of Vex Red (whatever happened to them?). 'Athletes and Tourists' seems to be just noise, but entertaining noise! It doesn't really turn out to be much of a song. Final track 'One Ninja' sounds a bit like an Iron Maiden song (run to the hills? or something like that)... it's not as bad as Iron Maiden though, so this E.P. is well worth the £2.99 I paid for it.
