"Oh no" I hear you say. It's another one of those bands that "sound like Joy Division". Only they don't. Editors might be playing a dark, swirling type of rock, mixing intense moods with catchy hooks and melodies.
"Munich" is one of those songs that will forever be played in indie clubs. It's shimmering guitar lifts a simple beat off the ground and places it somewhere higher, and the only let down is that the song is a bit too short, and the b-side is quite dull, but still, for 2 quid, I'm not complaining.
Editors are ones to watch, that's for sure.
