Morning Runner - Gone Up In Flames

Well, yet again my choice of what to buy this week was influenced by pretty vinyl. This one's SQUARE, making it a pain in the arse to start playing.
Gone Up In Fames is a lovely bit of pop guitar stuff. It doesn't have any particular hook to it, but it'll definitely have you bopping in your seat. Something about it reminds me of.. someone else although I can't quite put my finger on who, a feature that is usually what makes the good songs great. B-side Leave Me Alone is beautiful. It's the sound of the sun setting behind Portland bill (the best description I can get from my actual life experience I'm afraid).
