The Cooper Temple Clause - Blind Pilots

Reviewed by Andreas on 4th December 2003

This first single from TCTC's new album has been out a while, but I've
just managed to get my hands on it. "Blind Pilots" should be a song most
people know by now, and it is indeed a good one. Residing in TCTC's more
melodic areas of music, it's a dramatic song of epic proportions with a
chorus to die for. Personally it reminds me slightly of "Murder Song" off
of their debut album, but that might just be me. The guitars, the vocals,
everything fits together brilliantly to create a wonderful song. The
b-sides, "Derelict" and "I want you to think I could be" aren't bad
either, the latter being a silent little lament. Which is nice.
