Site downtime...
Posted by Bob on 29th July 2006 in Website
Update: More downtime today (31st July), seems to be all sorted out again though...
---
As you may have noticed, rawkstar availability has been sporadic of late, but it's back up again!! My webhost have had a few power problems and other webhost type problems lately.
Hopefully the site will stay up and be accessable again (without excessive page loading times... e.g., waiting a minute for each page to load) as opposed to what it's been like the past week!

Blog Design

I know the current colour scheme doesn't fit the rest of the rawkstar site, I will change it to the 'red' scheme at some point! I'm really just posting this to see what 2 Quickies look like together :). Also, I'm tempted to not show the quickies on the rawkstar.net homepage (in the recent blog entries list), what do y'all think?
Quickie

As you may notice, I've changed the theme the rawkstar blog uses. Now it has these small entries called 'quickies' (wordpress people call them asides, I prefer calling them quickies). So, you may now see more random small comments from the team here!
Rap Music - and it's repercussions
Posted by Ben on 25th May 2006 in Funny
You've all probably seen the viral on YouTube regarding "AverageHomeboy"...
Is anyone else aware that this guy is actually for real? That to this day, he is still marketing himself as a rapper? Blazin' Hazen, however, has dropped the really, really poor Casio keyboard drum machine and gone for something... yeesh... 'darker' (Imagine the whole East Coast/West Coast rap rivalry. Where the West were into G-Funk and slowed out beats, the East brought out an edgier product e.g Wu Tang Clan)
Anyhoo - blazinhazen.com
You try figure out if it's a gimmick or for real these days
